Aether & Hemera have been selected for creating an artwork to commemorate the end of World War One.

HOPE is a light and sound installation, inspired by the life experiences of the people of County Durham to commemorate their hope, humanity and resilience, even in the bleakest of times. More info here!

HOPE lights up Durham to mark the centenary of the First World War. A commemorative installation, featuring hundreds of colour changing LED tubes with speakers projecting the words of North East people during the First World War, will be lit up from today as part of our Remembrance Day tributes. The UK's biggest digital light festival This season, Quays Culture will host the UK’s biggest digital light festival, at Salford Quays and MediaCityUK. The annual festival, Lightwaves 2016 will run from Friday 9 December until Sunday 18 December and will feature a collection of outdoor light exhibitions. #Lightwaves2016.
