The next step in our creative journey as lighting artists is the use of new technology to develop interactive digital artwork and last week we've begun a new exciting project involving the use of digital technologies in the production of a new artwork scheduled for this autumn, thanks to an Arts Council Grant for the Arts.

The artistic aim of the proposed research is to discover new interactive ways to transform artwork's viewers into participants through an investigation of recent digital technology developments and associated human perception.

In order to bring practice and research together the final output will be a piece of digital graphic work that reacts in real-time to viewer's movements, positions, voices using sensors, controllers and cameras.
